Infant Program

Our baby room is the most nurturing environment a little one could hope for. Our teachers are well trained and just crazy about babies. Our low 1:3 caregiver to child ratio and small group size of six babies makes for a very safe and comfortable setting. Babies are encouraged to explore at will, to practice using their bodies in new ways, to experience competence and confidence and to make connections with the caregivers as well as the other babies. We use baby sign language to help our pre-verbal wee ones communicate their needs and to help them self-regulate.

Infancy is a very important time for children. As they grow and develop they make connections with adults, other children and even themselves!

A baby’s task in early infancy is to establish trusting relationships in which she knows that her needs will be met. As baby grows he will use his strong foundations of relationship and begin to explore the world around him. Baby’s brain is very busy from the beginning of her life. She makes neural connections as she learns and it is very important for her to have a loving and safe environment with attuned caregivers. Baby needs lots of attention and exposure to new and different things at a pace he can embrace. Each baby has his own unique rhythm and needs to know that he is perfect just the way he is!

Our infant program is open to babies from 6 weeks old to 18 months. We maintain a 1:3 staff/child ratio and a maximum daily enrollment of 6 children

Tuition Fees

(rates effective September 2009)

We require a 2 day minimum enrollment.

Infant rates apply to all children aged 6 weeks to 15 months, regardless of which room the child is placed during the day. For children older than 15 months, toddler fees apply.

There is a 10% discount for the 2^nd (older) child.
